First some one posted the NWS New Orleans Office forecast for this weekend discussing potential tropical wave or activity across the central Gulf coast this weekend.
Now I read this from the NWS, issued for the Mississippi coast line: DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY A STRONG TROPICAL WAVE IS EXPECTED TO PRODUCE AN ABUNDANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS STARTING SUNDAY ALONG THE GULF COAST. SOME OF THIS ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO A PORTION OF THE CENTRAL GULF COAST WITH A POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAINFALL. ACTIVITY DEVELOPING OVER THE COASTAL WATERS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE WATERSPOUTS. TIMING AND PLACEMENT OF THIS SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO BE REFINED THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED.
Anybody have a clue what these guys are seeing and where is it at currently?
