Going to be running thru moderate to somewhat strong shear, not a lot of hot water, and marginal theta-e. ftp://ftp.tpc.ncep.noaa.gov/atcf/stext/09081312AL9009_ships.txt Also, a large 850mb vorticity area, so could be a while to consolidate. On the other hand, I am getting excited about the yellow box.  |
