The NHC discussion shows the models issues with intensity, from dissipation to category two hurricane.
"THE INTENSITY GUIDANCE RUNS THE FULL SPECTRUM THIS MORNING...WITH THE GFDL DISSIPATING THE SYSTEM...WHILE THE HWRF SHOWS A CATEGORY TWO HURRICANE BY THE END OF THE FORECAST PERIOD."
The HWRF was eventually supposed to replace the GFDL I thought, but look at the difference between them!
