I could be wrong about this, but it seems to me that thunderstorm complexes often intensify right around sunset.ANA seems to be reflecting the type of intensification which I am speeking of.?
Also, please, ''correct me if I am wrong''but the satelites fail to show the moist layer of air which is immediatly above the surface of the warm water.Tropical systems are most dependent on warm moist air at the surface of the planet.I have a hunch that the shrinking layer of dry air which is in the mid and upper levels of the atmosphere, out ahead of ANA, may in fact lead to an intensification of this system. It is a fact that under ceartain conditions that dry air aloft can cause thunderstorms to become more intense,''at least in regards to wind''.Well I hope I have not proven my lack of real knowledge, but I do hope this post will lead to some interesting debate. |
