Almost no shear SW of Ana.  Not low clouds moving from coast of SA in a curve to the area of low surface pressure also to that SW.


Note lots of lightning in north South America--this helps to couple area in low shear zone:




Lightning here peaks in about an hour UT and goes strong until about 2230 UT.

Looking more like westerly track for our twins.  Not good sign as Bill may not be fish afterall.  Worst place in terms of RI recently given regional conditions is when storms are just NE of Caracus VN.
