That ain't no August trough - that's an October trough. And as has been noted before, the iciness of Hudson Bay this year has really been a supercharger for troughs all summer long (as well as a heat-wave generator for the Pacific Northwest.)

Yea, without that deep trough, Bill would have knocked the crap out of one of our towns or cities. Someone's out there, skating free - and will never know what could have been...
