It was winding down at Carolina Beach

We were visiting Carolina Beach for the "Bill passing by" event.
It was interesting to watch the wind change directions-- while we were fishing in Cape Fear River/Intercoastal when Bill moved closer on Friday from West to South to East all within about an hour.  
And the swells were up to 10 foot on the beachfront.   (didn't deter the surfers tho! and they had to haul some swimmers out who got caught in rip)  And as Bill moved past-- the waves direction changed immediately.  And weren't quite so wild and were back to 4 foot by this morning--Sunday.  And I might add, nice to observe from a "great distance" rather than up close and personal!
