Thanks Jack; you're really too kind - and I'm embarrassed!

And as you noted, yes - there's a big difference between the hammer and the "big guns." They both sting but the latter is so overwhelming - the receiver can't swallow it all in one gulp and respond with a knee-jerk reaction. It's purpose of course is to cause self-reflection instead of anger.

The hammer is the easy way - but as with so many things in life, the easy way is not necessarily the best way. Years ago I used the hammer often - and I did pay attention to the responses. The responses weren't good - so I ditched the hammer.
(I'm well aware that doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result is the definition of insanity, lol.)

I write a lot on Yahoo Finance and find that if I take the time to write clearly and logically, I can get along with people who's views are much different than mine. We often discuss politics because it's so closely related to finance - and when folks on both sides of the fence slow down and take the time to "think and write" - it's amazing to find out how much all actually have in common! (We begin to realize how effective the media is in distorting our realities through endless propaganda.)

Well...I'll be on all sorts of tangents if I don't end this - so I'll just thank you again and let you and the others get back to the tropics.
