What does a stalled out and further south center of Erika do to models ?

Nice question for the present time.

No movement.  Also, a center which seems to be moving just under 17N, near 16.9, 57.2.

Danny reconsolidated and the center got under the convection.

What does Erika want to do?

The longer she sits, the better a recurve chance.

However, if she can put any forward motion on and have a more southerly center, the whole game changes.

I think Erika is a U.S. visitor.  Where, I don't know.  But if she can miss the trough, catch the ridge AND move with any westerly progression, sheared or not, she makes it to U.S. soil.
