Reading last NHC Advisory which continues to state model uncertainties regarding both its existence and intensification. Despite the shear, I think Ericka will move over Puerto Rico and toward the Turks and Caicos at least at Depression strength. Some models continue to call for strengthening there (last NHC Advisory--even though the NHC itself takes a more conservative view). However, I do agree with a slightly more rightward course, than has been displayed in recent hours--with a trek not into the GOM but more towards central Fl.
