Diane was far out there...above 20N..  not at the same spot west though am sure if we played Fantasy Cane we could say that once in history some storm started north...then stalled, moved west... bent down a bit wsw and then west and kept going all the way to ... like Diane.

Course, that would be in a year without troughs, correct?

Diane was obviously a weak CV wave that formed further out...
