The temp dropped to 31 at 9PM tonight in Clearwater, FL. It's at 32 now. Still some weird weather.
33 at my house right now. I guess we might just do it again. Some neighbors ran sprinklers this evening. I guess they thought the freeze was over. If we do freeze, it would be 4 days straight of freezing low temps recorded and 5 days of freezing temps in a 7 day period.
Gulf temp 49. I think even vacationers from up north would take issue with that. Most mets have said they don't recall having seen anything like that. One said at least in the last 20 years.
I'm thinking about the mid 70s forecast at the end of the week, this week. (Seems impossible after this stretch.) They are even talking about some severe weather over the weekend.
Several sinkholes around the Tampa area. Was just watching that on the news. All the water being pumped out of wells onto crops might be a contributing factor for some. |
