Gianmarc the absolutely ferocious thunderstorm that you witnessed were very common in AZ when I was a kid.  It did not rain often but when it did it was ferocious.  The rain storms here in FL make me smile.  Hurricanes remind me more of those ferocious thunderstorms out west.  Yes there are differences.

So glad you got to witness the historical snow storm.  Thanks for the post.
