| Yeah, the only way we can get rid of these tired old names is to retire them. And that, the NHC seems more than willing to do, with several examples of "important storms" having their names retired in the recent past. I know it violates the principle of "retirement", but if thats what it takes to get rid of some of these old names, then I'm all for it. I hope the NHC will come up this some cockamamie reason to retire the next Claudette or Danny or Florence, or as Johnny Cash said "Bill, or George, or anything but Sue!" |
