MISSOULA - It's not the earthquake "swarm" we saw a few weeks ago, but Yellowstone National Park is seeing additional earthquake activity this week, including a small quake with a magnitude of just over 3.0 Saturday evening.

The latest shake hit around 9:15 p.m. and was centered seven miles southeast of West Yellowstone and measured 3.2 magnitude.

Seismographs from the University of Utah weren't able to record a measurement on the depth of the quake.

Three additional earthquakes were recorded in the same general location this week.

That included a magnitude 2.7 quake Monday evening, a small quake of 1.9 magnitude Tuesday evening and a stronger 2.4 magnitude quake Friday evening.

Smaller quakes aren't that unusual in the geologically-active Yellowstone region.

But this has been a more notable year for earthquakes, after dozens of rumblings were reported during that earthquake swarm a couple of months ago.
