I'm sure that airspace is restricted

understandably so, it would be a circus out there if they allowed every media helicopter access to an area that's already jammed with thousands of vessels and crew working to solve a disaster.  they are also releasing info rather quickly in my opinion

Transocean has links on their website

BP has links on theirs

NOAA has links on theirs (as do many of the related agencies involved)

there is also a joint task force website

I read this am that Cameron International Corp supplied the BOP valves in question - I am sure that every co is working with their PR & legal counsel as well as US agencies - investigations take time - their main concern is shutting it off right now, not supplying 24/7 video - lawsuits and blame will be flung everywhere

also read that US doesn't require remote control valve operating switches - "too expensive" at 1/2 million - I'll bet everyone's wishing now they had one and I also bet it will be a requirement in the not so distant future

if you search online, you could find all of the above & more - info's changing fast, as it becomes available

WSJ has a good article this am: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704302304575213791958270682.html?mod=WSJ_hpp_MIDDLETopStories#printMode

hope it's all cleaned up & squared away before a hurricane enters the Gulf
