Excellent post by Dr Masters on high SST anomaly.

First wave through was impressive - even created an anti-cyclone and ouflow channel in a highly sheared environment.

Also, WV is shooting back over the Sahara which is keeping a lid on SAL.

Seeing some heavy duty MCS's roll off the coast already.
