Still quite a bit of shear is forecast for the Carib thru both CMC and GFS forecast periods.

However, both are showing an anti-cyclone developing north of Panama at 144 hrs out and could be working its way north. Need to watch this.

Both deterministic models do show shear relaxing east of the Bahamas by this weekend.

Keep an eye on this area for a possible sub-tropical genesis.
