Yes upper level energy has continued to pulse over Central America and into the NW Carribean. As the NHC says, chances of development are low. But the hostile shear is much worse to the north of the system over the Gulf of Mexico, and I think the key phrase used by the NHC was "little movement expected". So what we don't want to see is for this system to fester in the NW Carribean for a period of days. |
