Shear Forecast & A Possible LL Trough
Posted by JAC on 6/3/2010, 7:41 am

CMC is showing the Mid-Level Sub-Tropical Jet Stream taking a turn south of the Bahamas in the next fews.

Shear is forecast to drop in the Bahamas as a result.

BTW, the Sub-Equatorial Ridge in the SW Carib won't be going away anytime soon.

850mb Theta-e forecast is showing a LL trough sweeping into the West Bahamas in a few days.

If something does spin up, it may go extra-trop as a result.

Need to watch and see.

If everything comes together, Fred may be getting excited early next week.
