It is simply idiotic to say that this incident is no more damaging than the natural gulf oil seeps ! Who ever said such a thing needs to go to the gulf and start collecting dead and injured animals full of oil,cleaning the living creatures while a gulf fisherman who can no longer practice their chosen proffesion and lifestyle shoves the dead ones down the throat of this moron ! Oh by the way I am not endorsing violence,as the fool who said this should not actualy have dead and oiled creatures shoved down their windpipe,that was just a figure of speach.In a way though the person who said this is endorsing the violence of more oil spills by trying to get people who do not know for sure to support still more drilling.
The truth is that we can live without a good deal of the oil and oil products we are now using.We can not however,live without a planet suitable or unpolluted enough to support life.Please people the sort of economy we now have is unnessacary and it is going to destroy life on this planet ! Please urge our government to begin the process of supporting a needs based economy which only grows as nessacary to sustain population growth.And by the way,there is more to life than having children ! Adopt a child who needs a home instead of having children and you will be both helping a needy child while saving the earth;you can not do any better than that ! |
