been watching this all morning, and most of yesterday. There were some great cells that developed in NE yesterday.

Hellicity is just off the charts. It's really a great set up for some really severe weather/ Tornadoes today, especially in your area.

I'm a bit dissapointed up in Albany as the best looking thing so far today brought me torrential rain and a few rumbles of thunder. Blah!

All this great dynamic forcing and we get a bunch of cloud cover limiting diabatic heating and thus inhibiting lapse rates. Sucks.

Moreover, I've seen three Tornado warnings today, 2 in NYS, and one in SVT.

Did anyone see the classic hook echo yesterday in upstate Maine? It was so classic it even showed up perfectly on TWC's radar. Really nice.

Still hoping for something better if another line can form later today with some clearing after this batch goes in, but I'm afraid most of the action will be S/SE of here.

Could be very interesting in NYC/LI today though. Very interesting.
