I think it is still picking up the old 92L energy. I don't think you will see two storms form. 93L still has a little bit more shear to deal with then it will have a chance to develope. I think it will have to make it to the western Caribbean before that happens. Shear is very low in the gulf and the water is very hot. This is still a threat to someone in the gulf and potentially an oil nightmare. I would think that clean-up and cap crews would have to be out of the area 72 hours prior to impact regardless of where it hit. They are ahead of schedule on the first relief well. Lets hope this thing fizzles out or doesn't recurve. I don't think that will happen but we can hope. |
