Okay-----Hope you like this

1. NHC is basically right on their five day course bringing the storm to the central-west Gulf. What they don't show you is what might happen after that (if the storm is picked up on a more northerly course by the oncoming trough-front.

2. This system will be a strong tropical storm upon impact at the Yucatan---about 70 mph (important because it might still be a minimal tropical storm upon entry into the Gulf)

3. At the end point of the NHC five day forecast where it now shows tropical storm--we'll probably have a 75-80 mph minimal hurricane.
