Checking in from Offshore Galveston

Hey yall,
I figured it was time to check in. The rig I'm on is about 20 miles south of Galveston in about 60 feet of water. We are watching Alex closely and are starting to get things ready to evacuate to shore. We don't have an official evacuation order from the office yet, but we are getting ready just the same. The weather station on here is broken, so all my weather observations will be visual for those that are interested.

Winds: 5 to 10 MPH out of the South ( That aint gona last)
Sea's: 1 to 2 foot  ( That aint gona last either)
Swells: 2 to 4 foot out of the south ( Started some time last night)
Temps: Feels like about 85 to 90*
Cloud cover: party cloudy with high Cirus clouds.

I'll be keeping a close eye on Alex and the boards.
