This is what I have been worried about.

We are getting heavy MCS's firing up here on a moments notice in the Midwest.

It is nearly impossible to foecast a shortwave or cutoff low more than 2 days out.

NAM, CMC, and GFS are jumping on this.
GFS spaghetti is tight.
SREF latest run is short on its usual forecast period.  So, cant tell yet.

I think we need to see how Alex does after about 6 hrs in the water before jumping to conclusions.
