yeah it is

GFS 18Z shows Alex being scooped up in the jet stream right at the the trough axis north of texas so this makes sense, then it  turns into a decent low pressure system over great lakes. 0Z was still coming out when I looked but it doesn't matter untill tomorrow when models get a better handling of what's going on.
