I believe so. Faster than previously anticpated I believe.  GFS shows it eroding even further with a larger trough coming into the east coast and another larger more potent ridge behind that, but regardless of that, GFS wants to bring Alex into a TX landfall before being sucked up by said trough. Still too early to know because like in other threads they're discussing how the stronger the system the more it will tend poleward by the CF.
