| Maybe cloud cover somehow has something to do with it. I know the satellite measures sea level height and I don't know how that would be affected by clouds, but cloud cover cooling the surface would be one thing, but further down I don't think it would happen anywhere near that fast. Although that area has been stormy a lot from Alex and on, so it could also be upwelling, though we're not talking about a whole lot of wind. Not sure. It was not available yesterday, so it could simply be an error. |
