you can track any of the vessels involved with the Deepwater disaster here, whether "A Whale" or "Ocean Challenger" or any other - also has links to further info about a specific vessel from http://www.marinetraffic.com

As you can see, there are vessels flagged in many different places - Panama, Bahamas, Liberia, Norway, Spain, Marshal Islands....
