A broad corridor has opened for a NW type of move for the Yucatan system---Toward upper Texas onward toward Central Louisiana. You can see the ULL in the SW Gulf---Bay of Campeche. The apparent movement would be around the eastern side of the ULL--which may sort of guide the Carribean activity farther north than the Alex track--toward the upper Texas or West Central La coast. As for intensity---just hopeful that its nothing more than a tropical storm.
