was packed full of convection over the weekend. It almost looked like parts of the Western Pacific, when the ITCZ fires up over there, just bubbling thunderstorms.
I guess I am a bit shocked that nothing has come from this yet.
Two yellow circles. The Jamaica circle has a twist to it, just south and west of the island.
The other yellow circle is not twisting yet, but it is big.
20% is the order of the day, but I just think the odds have to catch up to this mass of convection at some point.
I think a named storm comes out of this, within the next 3 days or so. Unfortunately, the ridge to the north will likely mean another Gulf storm. |
