Jac, thats further south than I would've thought (moving through the NW Carribean). My thoughts are that it will move over and parallel with Cuba (lack of development---open wave). But heck, I've got to give you the benefit of the doubt. That would take the system a little south of due west--which is very plausible---and TS activity in that region would be better able to coalesce without as much influence from that killer TUTT in the Bahamas--and also, you're right, the GOM ULL has now cleared the region too (we talked about that earlier this afternoon). So I still favor a trek over the islands themselves--but I will be watching to see if your scenario pans out.
