Winds have shifted to generally out of the west along the north shore of Hispaniola along with pressure drops.

Close up VIS is showing a center around 21N 70W.

Also getting a moderate 45Kft cell firing very near the LLC.

Roll is developing in MIMIC-TPW along with increasing boundary-layer theta-e air.

Air to the south, over the island should destabilize this afternoon; cloud cover is minimal.

Chances for a flare up are looking better, maybe with in the next 12 hrs or so.
