This form of the eqaution is not in my Dynamic's book. This is a simplified version using some assumptions from what I've gathered where that "symbol" I think was meant to be pheta. I don't know why it looks like that but I found something from CIMSS college that had this form but pheta, which would be potential temperature, and then it makes sense because it's an isentropic process.I think thats why whereveer this image came from they left out what that letter was because they assumed people to know it was pheta. Weird. LOL Although, every insitution likes to pick and choose symbols for terms. The document I found has the same eqaution except they use P instead of q.
