WV is mid-level elevation. So, the black is dry air at the mid-levels, i.e 700mb to 500mb and a little above.
TPW (Total Precip Water) is more in the boundary layer (850mb to surface) - same as what MIMIC-TPW shows.
A lot of green numbers here in the black area.
That means the boundary-layer is still moist and supporting a good solid in-feed.
No dry air entrainment.
If you saw red numbers then that would defintely be an issue indicating dry air that could feed into the LLC.
