You said "High pressure over SE US to strong I think to allow for a sharp turn up into the the NE or N-Central Gulf---Much more likely for a gradual turn more north as Bonnie approaches the N Gulf Coast--That makes anywhere from New Orleans to Houston in play depending on the angle of approach. I hope you are right  I would be very happy if she tracked up Fl inland.  Her cloud cover shows S. FL but the Navy still has her tracking to LA.
