I am still worried she could get nasty again in the GOM.

Even though she may not get to a Cat 1, she could generate some very heavy convection.

There is always a huge very-high CAPE bubble that sits over the Loop-Current Eddy.

It is always anywhere from 4000 to 6000 CAPE.

Shear is also increasing in the GOM.

So, that is a deadly combination for generating very strong supercells / MCS's.

May also see some strong waterspouts.
