My day with Bonnie

Yeah, she was a sad excuse for a storm, but it's still a cool piece of mother nature.  A buddy of mine was just on with Jim Cantore on TWC, pretty cool.

I just drove through the worst of the squalls on my way home from work (Fort Myers Beach to Naples).  It was breezy with light rain, saw some gusts to 30.  It was weird the rain drops were so small, almost a heavy mist.  If the low clouds had not been racing by, I never would have believed I was in a tropical cyclone. Not even a leaf or a twig had been blown off a tree.  The one real sign that I was in one is the HUMID HEAVY air, nothing like it. Oh and rain- .6" at my home rain gauge.  Bye Bye Bonnie, I barley knew ya.
