Disturbance over the Yucatan

The area had been flaring across the western carib over the weekend. Its now over the Yucatan and will be emerging into the GOM during the day tomorrow. Visible shows a mid level center and associated 850-700mb vortex. Obs indicate Northerly winds across the western Yucatan and SE winds at Cuzumel. Although upper levels are not ideal, think development is possible once the system moves water. Movement towards the NW-NNW.
