It's in the ITCZ on the 1st of August in a season forecast to be 'busy'. Odds of being nothing are for those reasons alone slim, imho. My first impression is that, like all Cape Verde storms, it has a long and challenging trek ahead.

I'll start monitoring pressure and winds around Puerto Rico today for some early guidance.
