If you haven't noticed, there is still no evacuation plans in place. This article written was basically all discussed at the conference i went to in Massapequa. I accepted the reality...
There is no way to evacuate long island if the big one approaches, they move to quick up the coast. so i went to plan B. I started to stack up, not that i think we are going to get hit this year, but in the next 5, i have a bad feeling.
1 Gallon water per person per day. stock up for at least 7 days
plently of canned food and vitamins
precut wood for the windows and doors
a shotgun to protect the family *LI only has only a 2 day stockpile of food
and i put a hurricane symbol in my driveway "lol" just to educate my block
