As you know with the ULL to its north (and as time progresses--more to the west) the main energy source for the developing system will come from the south and east. Your point is well taken as it looks like inflow will be unobstructed from the south and east. Matter of fact as the ULL moves on we could see quite an uptick through depression status with this system becoming a tropical storm by early evening tonight (I really believe its a possiblility) as things seem to be coming together quite nicely just SE of the keys.
