The Midwest Front and Earl

Tropopause heights shows the front is driven by a deep cold-core currently north of MN.
GFS spins it up today and tracks over Lake Superior.
Skew T in MN shows air is warm at surface but a 100-knot jet in the Upper-Levels.
So, not a lot of cold air behind it and not a lot of unstable air ahead of it.
Gotta run - be back to finish up how this may affect Earl's track.
