Gaston & the PR TUTT

Large TUTT currently centered over Puerto Rico.

Actually, blocking some of Gaston's forward progression.
We all know if it remains where it is, it would shred Gaston as it approaches.
Forecast is not the case though; it will move NW well ahead of Gaston and allow him to progress due west.
Convection minimal now, but a MIMIC-TPW ridge is building ahead of it along 60W.
This is the classic theta-e ridge that a system moves into and can suddenly flare.
