Taking the core's temperature

Exteremly good looking vertically but narrow horizontally.

Notice the negative temps below the warm core.

No temperature inversion here that could limit convective lift.

The small radius means that Igor is prone to respond quickly in intensity to external influences.

What that means is I expect to see a rapid drop in intensity due to the EWRC.

However, once over and everything else OK, he could quickly jump back up in intensity.

Need to see if the poleward outflow channel is still in place once the EWRC ends in about 18 hrs.
