Bermuda is a well-fortified island whose people are as well-versed in preparing for situations like this as anyone in the world. But there are some situations you just can't entirely "prepare" for. The kind of flooding and havoc that a cat four can do when it sweeps over a tiny island like Bermuda is not something you can "prepare" for. It's only something you can run away from.

Still tons of time for the outlook to change, especially with a storm moving as slowly as this one. Time is on their side, both in terms of potential shifts in track to the right or left, and in terms of having a chance to adequately brace themselves.
