And even if they do take the brunt, they are probably more prepared than anyone in the Atlantic Basin.  They know they have no place to go and have taken an "its not if but when" approach when it comes to building codes and emergency response.  Most hurricane prone areas in the Atlantic should key off on these guys.  The largest US cities that could be threatened by a major are the size if not bigger than this island.  I've been very impressed with what I've read about their hurricane preparedness.
