I got to proof read a little more before I post...

I get lost in the different levels of the atmosphere if I don't keep my focus on the simple processes of the storms. I still see the atmosphere in about 3 simple levels: sea level, rain cloud level, and stratospheric level.

Igor is still radiating heat into the stratosphere. I bet things can get pretty cold up at 36,000 feet above sea level.
