Try tolerating those 50 bites in a bathing suit.  Yes it IS bad.

Fortunately for the hotel trade, the flies don't seem to be nearly as bad in the commercial strip.  Not sure if that's because the tall buildings block the influx, or because the little buggers are more interested in things like dumpsters found in that area, or what  But down here in the single family neighborhoods, the beachfront is virtually barren of people when the flies are out.
